Foam Amsterdam asked me to create a long format video for their platform showing photographer and journalist Johny Pitts going into conversation with professor and anthropologist Gloria Wekker. Together, they discuss the term Afropean and take a closer look at the images Johny took in Amsterdam.

Gloria and Johny had never met, so after first getting to know each other, we captured them discussing the grit of the black experience in Europe.
